Amtrak's Beaumont Station serves Beaumont, Texas via the Sunset Limited service.
After the station sustained damage in Hurrican Rita the station building was removed and only a concrete platform was left. A new station is to be constructed, which will utilize $1.2 million in federal stimulus funding.[2] Of the 19 Texas stations served by Amtrak, Beaumont was the 17th-busiest in FY2010, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 6 passengers daily.[3]
